bridge. i want to mention something we mentioned, when it rains this area here that i'm pointing at the highway 1 mill valley exit gets flooded. there's a parking lot where people leave their cars. many years people leave their cars and come back and the cars have been towed away because it's flooded. highway 101 looks good right now, right now there's no flooding. i want to let you know, i've covered that store many times myself. if you're up early to head out of town for thanksgiving you will be in good company. this may be the most traveled holiday season in years. doug, many travelers may be feeling uneasy this morning. >> conflicted at the very

people have been detained, only five suspects remain in custody. the 8th paris attacker is still on the loose. turkey foreign minister will hold talks with russia foreign minister to discuss turkey downing of a russian plane. turkey claims it violated turkey air space. the kremlin called the incident a planned provocation. russia is sending a missile defense system to the region and vows to continue airstrikes in the area. >> the clash that's taken place has been building over a number of the weeks. the two sides have been at odds in terms of which parties they are backing in the syrian civil

war. terrorist are using turkey territory to plan attacks in other countries. the man suspected of killing an artist working on an antiviolence mural had to be removed from the courtroom. >> it's being alleged. >> -- the arraignment for hallway started the way most do, calmly. as the judge red the -- read the charges he lost it. >> [bleep] >> the outburst happened as the judge announced that holloway was charged in the killing of antonio ramos. it happened as holloway tried to rob ramos.

>> he was painting and he had taken a break and was taking pictures to put on the web site, he had the camera equipment out there, i believe that sparked the incident. it was september 29th ramos was killed. with help from the u.s. marshal office and the fbi they tracked holloway to his mothers house in oakland. >> they called him a threat. >> we started getting information that he was involved in other robberies, this is a person we have to get off the streets. >> holloway is charged with five desirable counts of robbery and attempted robbery. he's tied to a street gang. >> he's been known and stopped with other ghost town gang

leave and given no solution. >> the worse part was being treated as if i was a fat criminal. they never asked me or anyone else if we could switch seats. it was get off the plane. now he was allowed back on the plane after he begged an employee to ask a woman to switch seats and she agreed. but he was embarrassed to have to walk back on the plane after that incident. willie mays was among 17 people honored with the presidential medal of freedom. the president recounted some of may's remarkable accomplishment was a giant and a san francisco giant and he had a percentage note of what mays meant to me. a few years ago willie rode with me on air force one.

down around gilroy to holster. almost out of our area. some of that may have produced snow. we can say good-bye to that. sierra nevada looks like things are quieter. isolated snow shower, that will continue for a while. the low is not going anywhere. 30s and 40s. 30s for napa, fairfield is in there. 24 hour difference in temperature compared to yesterday. 13 degrees cooler in fairfield. 11 for napa. 5 to 9 from shows to oakland. it feels colder the breeze has tailed off. that's the direction north, north west, that will keep the cool air in place.

fund-raising efforts and the help of 400 volunteers. a day ahead of thanksgiving there's great need in san jose. the donations a charity is asking for as it tries to feed thousands this holiday. protest in chicago, the graphic video the police department put out showing a officer shooting a teenager. we're looking at a commute that looks great. the roads are clear, so far so good on the golden state bridge. it looks like we're done with the rain at least for this system. it is pushing south and east. we'll show you the timing -- temps coming up.
